My cousin Keith was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis as a baby. He wasn't supposed to live past early adolescence. Well, my aunt and uncle were well informed about the healing stripes of Jesus, and refused to accept that fate for him. They prayed for him, and he was supposed to be on a special diet.... They had to face all the ugly diapers (for some reason, it leaves a baby with bad bowel movements) and all the sickness the baby had.... And they stood on the Word, and believed God, not man, not even their own eyes. My cousin was 34 two weeks ago, has three healthy kids of his own, and has been free from disease since those baby days.... He was also in the army as a young man.....

      His sister, next in line, and third of seven kids, has also been plagued with sickness, from birth... She had been born over 10 pounds from my aunt having gestational diabetes.... and right away, Kate was very sick herself... and never gained any more pounds. The doctor's diagnosed her with failure to thrive.... she was very sick, and in fact, dying. The doctors wanted to put her in the hospital and on IV's.... If it were today, they probably would have taken her away from her parents and done just that... but back then, my uncle and aunt just said, NO, we refuse to hear this negative diagnosis, and she also is covered by his stripes and is healed and whole.... Every good and perfect gift is from our Father in heaven.... And she too was healed and gained weight and is now 28, and getting married next year.

      They had similar "testings" with each successive child, up to the last one, their only other daughter, Grace.... My aunt was 42 when she was born, and again, a sickly baby with all kinds of problems, but again, they stood on the Word, and she was healed. She's my own daughter's best friend, both being 19 now... They grew up together. I have four kids, and two of them are the same ages as two of my cousins (my aunt's youngest kids).

      Most of the kids were not diagnosed with as serious illnesses as those two I mentioned. But they all were "tested"..... And it was serious enough to be documented, and the healings as well. I wound up going to the same doctor for my kids as my aunt had, and I knew that the doctor was used to dealing with "healed kids"....

      The Word of God is truth... and we are to believe and have faith in God for all things. I don't know why some people see their healings manifest before others do, but I do know that God is not a respecter of persons, and we all are entitled to the healing power of the stripes on His back. The Holy Name of Jesus is all the power we need to be healed.... And steadfast faith that God's Word is true.
